Wrightstown – Three Wrightstown high school students had a narrow escape from injury Monday evening when the car in which they were riding came close to leaping into the Fox River when the bridge was open to allow a boat to pass through. The students Ervin Garrity and Betty Vanderheiden were coming down the hill onto the bridge which was open and hit the chain strong across the road. They stopped a few inches from the opening.
