A beautiful new bridge across the Fox River at Wrightstown was formerly dedicated Sunday, August 5. The two-day dedication program was planned by leading officials and businessmen. Thousands thronged the streets and village park. The observation started with a parade which moved across the new bridge. Cities and villages throughout the area had floats and marching bands in the parade.

Five Kaukauna residents are enjoying two weeks at Camp McCoy near Sparta, Wisconsin. Carl Darrow, Loyal Belongea, Eugene Winn, Donald Promer and John Brouvhek. The group left Saturday with the 120 Field Artillery band of Appleton.

Robert Miller, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller, is confined to the hospital recovering from injuries he received when he ran into the road and was run over by an automobile.
