Louis Chizek and son
Louis Jr., returned from hunting in Florence County. Each shot a deer with ten points weighing 180
and 190 pounds.
Dr. A. E. Bachhuber, of Mayville,
Wisconsin has just arrived in our city. He has rented the office formerly
occupied by Dr. W. W. Nolan where he will practice medicine and surgery.
1327 boats passed through the Wisconsin Avenue
bridge during the navigation season just closed.
December 9, 1932
The office of the
Kaukauna Times will be moved to its new home in the Mill Building on the corner
of Main Avenue and 3rd street over the weekend. The portion of the
building to be occupied by the Schiezewski Barber Shop is to be completed
before the 15th of December.
December 13, 1932
Workmen this morning
started the cleaning of Nicolet School grounds which will be used for an ice
rink. The city rinks are provided for their use in preference to skating on the
river.
December 20, 1932
The Kaukauna Fire
Department was called to the farm home of John Van Laarhoven at Route 1, Sunday
afternoon. The fire department managed to save the adjoining buildings but
failed to save the Van Laarhoven home.
The Times was the recipient of a box of mistletoe this morning from Dr. H. B. Tanner from Eastland, Texas. Each year Dr. Tanner has been known to send such a gift to the Times for which we are very thankful. Dr. Tanner has always been as ardent supporter of the Kaukauna Times.
Nearly one hundred citizens, businessmen, teachers, students, football players and alumni attended the annual football banquet held last night at Hotel Kaukauna. The banquet was one of the most successful ever held here and was arranged for the by Superintendent J. F. Cavanaugh.

Jack Hilgenberg set the
pace for bowlers in the city league Monday evening when he rolled three games
to hit a 699 series. He is a member of the Nitingale team.
