December 5, 1962
Two Kaukauna sisters
were hospital roommates and had babies born within about 2 ½ hours of each
other at the Kaukauna Community Hospital on Sunday, November 25. The sisters are Mrs. Gerald Locy of Little
Chute and Mrs. Daniel Verbeten of Kaukauna.
Donna Feldkamp, West 4th Street, Kaukauna, has graduated from the Green Bay Accredited School of Beauty Culture. Danna is a 1961 graduate of Kaukauna High School.
Steve Hilgenberg with a 243 game paced the members of the Teen Age league in the loop opener at the Bowling Bar.

Kaukauna’s Hill Top
Bakery has made an old time “Hansel and Gretel” or “Honey House” into a new
times do-it-yourself kit. A glowing
sales record tells the story. The first
year, 1960 Hill Top made 600 kits. Last
year the number jumped to 10,000 and this year is still to be counted.
December 21, 1962
Kaukauna Common Council
Tuesday night passed an ordinance which will prohibit merchants from displaying
items on or above sidewalks in front of their stores.
December 26, 1962
Two infants were born
on Christmas Day at Kaukauna Community Hospital. A daughter was born to Mr. and
Mrs. Donald Frederickson of Kaukauna and a son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel
Vanden Heuvel of Route 1 Kaukauna. To date there have been 17 children born on
Christmas Day at the Kaukauna Hospital.
